Should be able to find a tech article on how to remove the switch assembly. gamoody 03-21-2003, 01:52 PM I had the same problem on my 93 100. I replaced the potentiometer (the switch) and it works great now. The part was about $40. bogelo 03-21-2003, 05:48 PM gamoody 03-23-2003, 06:22 PM Yes, the dial that controls the position of the sunroof is actually the potentiometer (fancy term for the electronic equivalent to a dimmer switch) I pulled the trim unit from the headliner (careful with this or you will end up replacing the trim unit and the dial) Once open you can use the provided crank to manually close the sunroof or wait till after the repair. pull the dial away from the front/bottom of the trim unit. This is on really tight so give it some muscle but don't use pliers. Once the dial is off, you can use either a deep socket or needle nose pliers to unscrew the nut holding the post of the Potentiometer to the trim unit. After that it is a simple remove and replace.
