My friend and I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and went for a little drive last night in the mountains near State College, PA. He has a 99 E36 M3 and me with my 2.8. We were driving all over the place and having fun when I decided my car has had enough and wanted to just head back. I text paged him and said let's cool it off my oil temp is climbing. To which he replies, you mean your water temp. No I said oil temp. Anyway big argument ensues and he bets dinner that I am wrong and my 'crappy' A4 can't possibly have an oil temp gauge if his suave M3 doesn't have one. Needless to say I had a nice steak dinner last night.

I say bring back the oil pressure gauge!
