My VAG-COM has been working great for years. But on my 99 A6 it has begun to give me the 'Interface Not Found' error message. I've also got an A4, and VAG-COM has no problem making a connection so I think the laptop and cable are fine.

Bad design on on Matsu****a's part. Try disconnecting the radio.
