I have a VAG1551 so I have no experience using my VAGCOM SW and I have some very basic questions, pls. bear with me as I dont have a lot of time to get it done.
I have to do some uphill runs in 3rd and 4th to log some parameters to finish my tuning (actually a fine tune).
I will run up a 2 mile hill in 3rd starting at 3000 rpm and neede to log some things. I have never used the laptop since I have the 1551, but it doesnt log and since the car will be doing 90-125mph at the time I dont want 2 look at road, EGT, tach, and boost guage all at once while trying to keep car on road, so I need the VAG COM logging function. I want to log the knock sensor voltage (all from 3k-7600rpm), the n75 duty cycles, MAF readings, the front and rear o2 sensor readings. If I can get these logged then I can manually log the EGT and boost and will have everything I need to finish the chip.
I know I am not reading up, etc. but my timeline is very short to get all this done and get the chip squared away. These are all I need, logging timing and fuel flow would be nice, but I dont think this can be done. Can someone PLEASE write out instructions for dummies and send them. I have never had the VAGCOM hooked up other than 2 test and dont want to do the 8-10 hi speed runs on the public roads it would take to log all by 1551.
TIA
