i was pretty sure it had a serial port back there, but i guess i was wrong...

so i'm thinking i could just use a Serial to USB adpater cable... am i correct to assume that should work or will it not?

so what can i do then? i'm just out of luck and should just try to re-sale that cable or is it possible to exchange/upgrade trough Ross-Tech?
i thought i had read something somewhere on the website about upgrading... i think there is a fee or something...
i know i can register for the full version of the software for $99... (right?)... how about upgrading/exchanging cables?
