trying to register my copy of vag-com i hit the test button and it says "status: 0-ready fast syncing:NO" and then i go to the about screen to grab the serial to register and it says please test...what gives and yes i did hit save

from at least one control module before VAG-COM will give you a serial number to submit for activation. There don't have to be any fault codes in that module, but you have to make it to that screen...
