I don't know if you guys can help. I have a diagnostic workshop here in the UK. I have an S3 1.8 T year 2000 with the immo 2 system, and have fitted a new engine ECU. The problem is I can not get the immobiliser to recognise the new ECU! I need the 4 pin immo code. Can this be found anywhere in the dash panel or on the car, as this vehicle was originally stolen, and had a false ID. My customer bought it from the salvage company, and it ran fine until the ECU failed. However because the original car ID has been erased, I am unable to get the 4 pin code from the dealer.

Also I have attached the following screen dump of the controller 17 ID, note the 'hex' code in the extras 1 field. How can I get rid of this, or is it OK to leave in. Hope you guys can help here!!! (Not sure how to add photo - will email to anyone who can help)
