Trying to sift throught the bently manual,STF, can I use my vag-com to program a new key? I've found a few on ebay that have the same FCC ID# as mine and want to order one. I know I have to have it recut and then I have to adapt it to the immobilizer?

From reading the manual it says I need a 7 digit PIN? Can I get that with vag-com or am I at the mercy of the dealer?

to buy the key is the correct FCC ID, correct? None of the other numbers matter?

get anything cheaper then the dealer! Oh well..
