2001.5 S4

I went <a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/audiB5.html">here</a>, copied down my existing code, which is 02264, and tried to change the "02" to "06". However, when I click on "Do it!", the icon is still there, and when I check the code again, it reverted to the original "02" code. I then tried changing to "04" just for kicks, but got the same thing.

Any ideas? I'm using release number 208.1. Thanks!

All it's looking for is a closed connection. I used a forked terminal and it fit great inside the plug for the pad sensors.

where the sensor wire meets the pad wear wire - I had this on mine, cleaned them up and OK now. Else your pads are low !!!!

The icon is always lit, and it doesn't serve any purpose now.

Also, why are you using such an old version of VAG-COM? Update!<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/download/">http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/download/</a</li></ul>

I finally had success permanantly turning it off with VAG by doing it when I had temporarily reconnected the sensors wires. After that it was off for good.

Basically it seemes that VAG would only turn it off if it wasn't already giving a warning.
