searched forever and get mixed results.

Car is a 2000 1.8TQ Tip ATW engine with 40K miles. Has a cone filter of stainless mesh--NOT a K&N and has no "oil" on the filter. Very well heat shielded with custom insulation etc. I've cleaned the sensor twice and checked all the wires. I'm throwing a code of 16487 "mass or volume air flow circ. high input" also I get an 18265 "load signal error message from engine control." From what I've found on the search through the archives the error message is common with mass air problems??

I also recently got one that had to do with the o2 sensors... #16524 bank one sensor 2 no activity detected... first time for that one. Car runs OK but lags/bogs on heavy throttle and surges a bit maybe?

My mass flow readings are almost the same from idle to WOT. Maybe this is a really stupid question but it seems my sensor is FUBAR?

800 RPM, load @41.4, inj. timing 3.69 MS, mass flow 133.4

2240 RPM, load @80.5, inj timing 9.02 MS, mass flow 134.28

3560 RPM, load @191.7, inj timing 24.6 MS, mass flow 135.36

Thanks so much for any help this thing is driving me nuts.

Or you've got some problems with the wiring to it.

The thing is, it's not shot in the usualy way. The usual way is that they read low, especially at high RPM and under load. Yours is the opposite, it reads high all the time.
