When trying to recode to sport mode 00032, I hit recode...enter the 00032 and hit ok. It re-reads the ecu and it makes no change? The workshop code is set to 00000. Should that change too?

More specifically the pre drive-by-wire (1999 and earlier) cars are different than drive-by-wire (2000 and newer). Ask wherever you got that codeing to find out if it's valid for your particular car.
