When I took it in to the dealer, he charged me way too much to replace an engine coolant temp sensor. The CEL was back within a day.

Is it time for me to cause a scene on the dealer sales floor until they replace the MAF, or is there something else it could be?

I'd also appreciate any suggestions on where I can get a cheap (well, good value) connector for my laptop. I'm thinking about buying the VAG COM software.

Did you ever find out what this was? I have the same thing... 2000 TT Quattro... an early one. Car runs fine. Bad oxy sensor? Dirty air filter? Thanks
