I vagged my 2000 2.8 A4 today and got a nice present..:

18010 (pw supply (B+) term 30 low voltage)
-doesnt' seem like a big deal but would like to know what's up.

18034 (data bus powertrain missing message from transmission control)
-might just need to be cleared as I recently installed the PES tiptronic chip

17819 and 17831 (sec air inj sys - bank1 and bank2 flow too low)
- ok where's the damn leak I looked everywhere? Either I missed it or we hooked up vacuum tubes wrong. ANy ideas? Earlier today the 90 degree plastic elbow that connects from the bottom of the airbox to the front of engine block got loose. I noticed that only after the car sounded 10 times louder so I fastened it back to its connection.

finally, the last three DTCs are 16684, 16687, 16689. All are related to cylinder misfires, particularly #3 and #5..Just for the hell of it I checked the torque on cyl 3 plug...it seems ok.

I read in other posts that I should swap the coil packs and see if the misfire 'travels'..I'll do that tomorrow when it's light out. Are there any other serious issues with the misfires..Could they be related to bad timing or anything more serious?


Maybe it's worth mentioning at this point that I recently installed a few new things on the car..the TCM chip, ECU chip, and some hardware..ok I upgrade to the PES G2 supercharger.

The car's been running fine.

Hopefully by tomorrow I will have my activation code for the vag software. I'll rerun and try to clear whatever I can.
