I'm using my Vag-Com for the first time in quite a while but it won't let me do certian things like the throttle body adaption. And when I checked the engine faults it gave me the first but the next four it told me register. I checked the registeration and it said it was full registered, Do you periotically need to register?

No, there's no "periodic" registration, but some things can kill the registration.
