Currently running an 8D0 907 557P from a 98 Passat in my 97 A4Q 1.8l 5spd. Ecm was put in by mechanic w/vag.
Have another used ecm, 8D0 907 557N from a 97 A4Q 5spd coming in this week. Want to install this one and send the current one to AWE for GIAC.
As the transmission and drivetrain on A4 the 8D0 907 557N came out of are the same as my car should I be able to put it in and expect proper performance w/o a vag (will do a manual TBA)?
