Got a USB-->Serial cable for my N760, got the software installed, registered etc. Can't connect to the ECU, Put the cable in, green light goes on the adapter for the ODB port, but nada.

Anyone have this working, any tips?

After reading the shadetree site, and the manual, there is almost nothing about any specific PDA's. In fact apparently if I can't get it working and need to get a different PDA, then I have to pay them another $249 for another adapter/software package according to their less than generous licensing agreement.

I built the circuit by Jeff Noxon and hardwired my DB9 in null modem configuration so it would interface with my iPAQ serial cable (the cable is meant to be connected directly to a PC, so it's TX/RX lines are reversed).

The software is very limited at this point but it's good for checking measuring blocks and DTC's.
