I gave the procedure described on the ross-tech site a try, but I could not find a group 000 under the Auto Trans module.

Could this be strictly a non-DBW thing?<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/autotrans.html">http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/autotrans.html</a</li></ul>

on that page is for the (very common)
transverse-engined cars (Golf/Jetta/Beetle, etc).

I had to do some digging to find the procedure for your car. Contrary to all
intuition, the kickdown adaptation in your car is done in 01-Engine (!) Basic
Settings, Group 063. Fields 3 and 4 should prompt you something like:
"Kick-Down" "Operate". That means press the pedal to the floor and hold.
Then it should change to "Kick-Down" "ADP Run", and eventuallty to "ADP OK".
Exact prompts may vary based on version of VAG-COM and CODES file in use.
Suggest you use the latest Release 303.1.
