The UNI-COM won't work on newer Audis with dual-K lines. (Help your fellow local Audi enthusiast. :)The USB-COM doesn't require a serial port (helpful for newer laptops without serial ports). The HEX-COM doesn't require software registration, as the registration is hardware based inside the connector.

The new HEX-USB connector will be out eventually. Id say wait for that if possible, but if you can't wait: if you have a serial port, get the HEX-COM. If you don't have a serial port, get a USB-COM.
