Just looking for first impressions.
Currently have the 2.0 CVT and it's too slow off the mark. I want a little more "oomph".

View Full Version : Has anyone driven the new 120kW 1.8T A4? YetAnotherA4 02-23-2003, 01:24 PM Just looking for first impressions. Currently have the 2.0 CVT and it's too slow off the mark. But that was for the old 110kW engine. Couldn't be as much of a slug as the 2.0! Aussie Audi Guy 02-23-2003, 05:19 PM & makeup of the suspension & chassis makes a big difference. Check out the underside of mine in OZaudi.com under the members rides. Two versions of chip - with & without injectors - test drive both firstly to feel the difference in torque spread

http://www.ozaudi.com</a

SilverA4TQ 02-24-2003, 12:04 PM Had a loaner A4 2.0 CVT during my first service and was convinced that going with the 120kW 1.8T was the right choice. That said had a Wett chip installed at 3000km - great improvement and no problems with 9,000km now on the clock. Lucas_Gchips 02-25-2003, 12:39 PM But anything above 150KW, strongly recomended Clutch Upgrade kit. Lucas_Gchips 02-25-2003, 12:43 PM Which is all locally tuned and soon will be going for more HP.
