Try Just Car, Shannons, MB Prestige...there was a thread last year on the Ozaudi forum on this with lots of info.

I posted a thread the other day about importing an Audi from the UK into Oz ( I'm currently living in London ) so to close the loop does anyone know of an insurance company that will cover private imports? I spoke to AAMI's special insurance subsidiary a while back and they quoted me $1,400 on a '97 1.8T - no mods!

I am with Just Cars on Rating one.
I think mine was about $1200-1400 mark, with mods.
There must be a few claims against A4's lately.

You need to have the car fixed by AAMI

Im paying $1750 with just cars for a 97 A4TQ with a few options, but minimal mods.

It may be somthing to do with the fact that im 22 and a rating 2.

That's a bit steep!

I just turned 30 and had my S4 insured with GIO for $105k and it only cost $2200.

I haven't modded at all, but the guy said that a simple chip (195kW==>235kW) wouldn't affect the premium at all!

I can only assume you have modded significantly more or are under the magic 30 :)

Good luck!
