I have personal experience from other public vehicle forums where public posts have resulted in criminal prosecution, and voiding of warranties on basically brand-new cars.

Also another word of advice.
There was a period when Subaru were taking down number plate deatils of WRX's at the drags and track days (of those stupid enough to have left them on). Many warranties were voided. You never know if any other manufacturer is doing this also so take care on this front also.
