Im looking to change my OEM discs as they have warped due to the harshness of the Green EBC Pads. What do u reccommend me getting DBA slotted or something else.

I can get the DBA's cheap for $320 a pair.

Does anyone know where i can get Pagid, Mintex, Black Diamond discs from?

Anyone else have other recommendations?

He's the man and he'll supply OEM discs direct from the manufacturer, thus eliminating Audi branding price hikes!

You'll usually get ATE or somehting similar from there.

Ooh, and they're in Prahan, Melbourne. ph. 1300 133 129

You can also try Imparts, in Hoddle Street (can't remember the suburb or phone num) but they're in melbourne as well.

I have the EBC green pads and EBC groove Disc on my A4 1.8 tqm, so if you're in melbourne and you hand to have a look at them closly you can contac me through jpau@bigpond.net.au or 0418199223. Also there is a photo on saturday's drive day to show that I do use them hard so I surely don't drive Miss Daisy whatever that is suppose to mean...

I have the above used discs boxed up and sitting in my storeroom looking for some fortunate soul to liberate. 12000k's of light use, not sure what thickness is on them.

$100 bucks and they are gone. I'll even throw in the Ver. 3 pads.

I only replaced them because I was offered a very good price on some EBC discs to go with some free Ver.4 EBC pads.
I found the combination of DBA dics & EBC Ver.3 pads to be good but produced a squeak under light braking. As EBC offer a replacement pad if you experience any squeaking I took up their g'tee. But I also put on new discs as well....so I can't say for sure whether the squeak was solved by the new Ver. 4 pads or by using only EBC gear. I still get a very small occasional squeak under extremely light pedal action but am very happy from that point of view.
Little dust too.

Performance, I don't think there is much difference between the DBA & EBC discs. I did heat up my oil and pads very quickly last time at Sandown with my current set up. Basically cooked them in less than 2 laps. Qualification...I am running nearly double the power than previously
;-) so not fair to compare (It was a previous set of DBA discs that I took on the track too).

I keep meaning to take a stock car for a test of it's brakes to try to remember what the OEM feel was like and to make a valid comparison. So until I do, I won't praise or criticise the EBC set up...I believe they have less initial bite than OEM but are more progressive giving better feel & control but need to confirm that one day. I just NEED MORE STOPPING POWER with the extra horses I have!
