The 140kW 6 Speed A4 sedan will be available in AU July this year. It will not replace the existing A4TQ. It will have the Speedline branding and will attract a 10% premium. Estimated on road cost is $72K.

I think it will be a better platform to mod. Given it already has a second intercooler.

You've got Dual IC's. Add a K04 or Garrett, and bingo.

But u also need bigger injectors, manifold that can flow more, free flow cat, etc...

That wasnt my point - the point was that with the car in stock form there will be little more to extract with just a chip.

AMD in the UK are the experts here.

If its 190hp stock. The current B6 1.8T can get 220hp. Thats still a 30hp gain, worst case scenario. This assumes 98Ron. That ignores any further mod's they have added, such as the Dual IC's. Who knows hat else they have done ?

Dont get me wrong here. I'm just saying it should be the 1.8T of choice once its released, as it should be a better platform to start from. I'm making a few assumptions here of course.

Just exactly how much HP can the Stock internal manage in an A4? A friend of mine did a Stage 3 MTM upgrade at the U.S and fried its rings and piston, I thought it was pretty impossible since MTM shouldn't have been so careless.....
