As the US Supercharger kits would come with chips to suit the US ECU's. ??

I assume that it wouldn't be difficult to take the setup for the supercharger (Fuel maps etc..) and make it available in a suitable aussie spec chip?

I imagine Lucas can answer that question.

I guess with enough demand, they would create a program that fits the AU ECU's. My Big assumption here is that the AU V6 ECU's are different to the US ECU's, ie as the 1.8T are.

However, if somebody just wanted it, they could run a 3rd party computer like a Motec or Link, and do it themselves.

Have received this from pes, however at this stage not verified. am working on it.

Hi,

Thanks for your inquiry. The G2 Supercharger system will work with all 30v engines. There is a customer running a 2.4L 30v in Europe with the G2 installed. Yes, your vehicles are the same as European models, and the G2 system is compatible. If you would like to order a G2 SC system please feel free to contact us.

Basically he can do a Aussie spec chip with the correct program for a G2.

The real killer is the cost, with the echange rate, import duty (20%), shipping I'm probably looking at $15K. Phew.... It will definately have to wait, but I'm keen to investigate this further.

Lucas mentioned he is keen to get a G2 downunder and will be speaking with PES to see if he can reduce the price by purchasing part kits and sourcing some of the more expensive components locally.
