Originally had 3" downpipe, 3" high flow cat under cat under car, and magnaflow rear muffler. But it had some bark and it was really loud. So I added a hotdog resonator about 3 weeks later which tamed it.

But to answer your question, it's hard to tell since it was all done in one go. But judging from other cars i've driving with cat-back exhausts, I would say that the larger downpipe and cat lets the turbo spool sooner. I think it's very worthwhile doing it.

I haven't run my car down the quarter.

Hopefully i'll claim 2nd fastest A4 in OZ.
