Has anybody installed a handsfree kit in the empty area beside the handbrake?

I had my old car kit there....when I eventually get my new car kit I will place it further forward so that it is over the 2nd cup holder ('97 models had two cup holders between the front seats next to the handbrake...no I'm not married :-) ) It was a pain being too difficult to read the screen and play with buttons even though it was a neat fit and out off the way. Suggest you have it as far forward as you can.

So did my old phone but there are still times.......and it's a pain. You have been warned ;-)
