I just purchased some dronell m-10 19x8.5 35et w/ mich pilot a/s 245-35-19. My ? for you fellow owners w/ 19 is it normal for lots of "road feel' and a slight vibration going at med-high speeds (100mph and on)I've had the wheels/tires balanced, alignment, replaced hub rings, new cone seat bolts. It seems like a lot more "feel" compared to my stock 18's. is this something I just got to get used too? Maybe the tires are big for the chassis? I've driven another s4 w/ bbs ch 19's and it has the same "feel' or slight vibrations. Stoopid ? whats the difference between just road feel and vibration? I'm serious lol

Whenever you go to a larger rim, which requires a lower profile, stiffer tire, you're going to feel more of the road. That's the case with my 19's. As far as the balancing aspect of things, understand that you have a car with larger rotors which can also account for balancing issues. To be sure that everything relative to the tires, rims, and rotors is properly balanced, find a shop that balances the tires while the tires are on the car. It's a lost art so it's hard to find shops that still do it but if you can find one that is the best way to assure that everything is in balance. I did this with my Porsche 928 and it made a world of difference. If you feel a shimmy in the seat of your pants, it's most likely the rear that's out of balance. If there's a shimmy in the stearing wheel, it's the front. In any case, you will always have a bit harsher ride when you increase the size of the rims unless you are somehow able to retain the stock tire heigth.

Does it rub at the front thru hard corners with bumps??
I'm interested cos I'm going with that setup too.
I'll be going 19s with et 30 and 245 tires.
It must look pretty awesome, huh?
Thanks.
Yes, there is a TINY bit more 'road feel' over the 18's, but not much.
If anything, the steering reponse is what I notice the most.
No vibs at 100+ at all here.
I called 3T Motorsports re: 19 Sportecs. The rep told me about vibration at speeds and that they were looking into spacers for the purpose of reducing the vibration and giving the car a more agressive stance. He said that he would have an answer for me in about a week. I'm not really versed in the matter, but that's what he told me. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You will have the wheel shake a little bit if you take your hands off it. I worried about it too at first, but I think it just has something to do with big rims and no tire wall. I used to think it meant my wheels were dented but I have 19" HREs on the Porsche and they have no dents and it still vibrates so i would not worry about it
