So far so good in terms of tires and installation. Slightly more compliant ride, marginally less noise. Less capable in the handlingly department than OEM tires but initial impression is that they do indeed strike a good balance between performance (more than enough for street driving) and all season capabilities.
If you decide to go the route of mounting a/s tires on stock rims, be sure to show the shop manager the condition of the wheels before the install...whether its low profile tires in general or our rims in particular, I get the sense that its a harder job than normal installs and one where the rims can easily get marred through carelessness.
I will post an update on wheel/tire forum after a couple of hundred miles and adjustments in terms of tire pressure.
