I have got the convienience and cold weather package. But after reading posts about burnt mirror heaters I checked mine and they were cold. Just wanted to check.

Heated mirrors on all A4's are designed to last only 3 or 4 months. This is a consumer test to see if anyone notices the features on their car and whether they work or not. My service manager says he has never heard of any heated mirrors failing, and the proof is that my mirrors heat up to about 60 Degrees in a 60 Degree room.
