I searched the forum and saw a few references to Continential (mostly that they were quiet) and Dunlop (noisy but good grip). Anyone running Bridgestone, Kumo, Yokahama, Pirelli, or any other tires? Do we need to stick with Z rating? Any other advice?

For some reason, I was thinking you were looking for winter tires like everyone else.
H rated High Performance tires will suffice. The max performance Z rated tires aren't necessary since the top speed governer should be keeping you below the speed rating of H anyhow (assuming no chip).

Before the goodyears I had Michelen Pilot Sport II. The Goodyears are way better.
Yokohama Parada are also very good

Especially for the price, this tire is great. Well rounded tire at doing everything you'd want a summer tire to do. It seems to have the least amount of trade offs.

Actually the summer tires are rated M+S with 400 treadwear and are in the 'ultra-high performance all season category' which is pretty limited right now. Compared them with the Conti's in this category and the Pirelli got a higher rating.
