Just by putting the top up and down it's developed a very nice rip right on the driver side window top line. I'm taking it over to the shop tomorrow but was wondering if anyone else has seen this and if so did the dealer give you grief about it being under warranty or not.

My top was fraying on the outside near the windshield. Audi repalced the top BUT got this black silicon crap on my seats. th leather absorbed the black stuff and stained the seats. When they replaced the seat covers--it looked terrible. So be careful!

It is the inside liner. There's a patch of material right about the middle of the window that appears to have collasped. The liner looks like it was originally rolled up into the roof and with the collaspe the rolled up portion has come undone. So, I've got this flap of material that gets stuck in the window and looks terrible. For whatever reason, the other side of the liner is still rolled up fine but I noticed that it's actually not attached to the roof at that point. Not sure if that's normal or not.

I would tuck it back in. The wrose problem is the stitching that came undone about 12" to the rear from this flap.

Finally was able to take the car in. The dealer ordered and installed a new liner. Everything seems OK now. It's just that little rolled up flap right about in the middle of the window, there's an identical one on the passenger side.
