I'll have to check what I did. It's been a while. I was joking because what I do remember is that it was a straightforward procedure. I think all I did was undo a couple of screws and it just came off, leaving a perfectly empty compartment. I highly recommend getting rid of the arm-rest cup holder. It's just a NA afterthought. The space gained is invaluable. HonktheHonkie 07-20-2004, 09:28 PM AnimaTTor 07-20-2004, 10:59 PM ... I realized that I didn't like the firmer ride on a Cabriolet. I spent a week with a manual A4 3.0 Quattro sedan (a fantastic ride) and found that the sedan has the rigidity to handle sport suspension, but the cabriolet, despite its amazingly rigid chasis, can't handle rough roads as well. I'm actually enjoying the smooth, Mercedes-like ride quality of the stock suspension. And the pitching isn't as bad as I remember, although its definately there. Having tried Konis and Bilsteins, I have to say that the Bilsteins were perfect for the Cab as far as performance suspension is concerned. They are gas charged, and offer the smoothest possible ride quality for aftermarket shocks. I'm looking to sell the Bilsteins. Haven't decided on a price, but am thinking of taking off 30%. They're only 7 months old. caster 07-21-2004, 05:01 AM caster 07-21-2004, 05:02 AM AnimaTTor 07-21-2004, 12:27 PM Eric at SPP can tell you if they're right for a cab with sport suspension. |
