I'm preparing to order an A4 3.0 CVT Sport/Premium. My preference for external colors is the Moro Blue Pearl/Blue top. "Expected" interior would be Platinum, but I find the gray kind of "blah". I really like the Vanilla (but with blue?), or maybe even the blue interior (triple blue?)

Any feedback would be very helpful.

The vanilla interior with a blue exterior, whether dark or light, would be beautiful. It sounds like an unlikely color combo, but the two colors really compliment each other beautifully. Just take a look at the pic below:

Don't get the blue interior--go for the vanilla!

The Vanilla does look great. You have a very beautiful car. I'm glad the dash is black. Of course, my only other concern is how dirty does it get, especially in a cab?

Are your Heated "Sports seats" the $1500 ones?

If so, was it worth it?

They can get quite dirty if you dont' clean and treat them. I have a 2003 Black 3.0 cab with the vanilla...I clean the seats about every three weeks or so, depending on the use. It's not that hard to do for such an attractive color. I like the sport seats and use the heated seat option a lot ( cold days are plenty here in San Francisco). the only thing I don't get is why they don't have the driver's storage bin on the sport seats. I cannot get an answer except--the sport seats don't come with the bin on the driver's side. Which I can see, but WHY?

Anyway, hope that helps-

This colour looks beautiful when new, but shows every mark and swirl. It is also (according to my salesman) the softest paint in audis range. I am currently negotiating with AUDI UK to replace my car because the paint is so poor, and have seen several other moro blue that are not as bad as mine, BUT I had an A4 loaner last week, moro blue and it was almost as bad as mine.. so its a bit of a lottery. would suggets stick to the lighter colours. Blue interior is nice BTW, but they have just had to replace my d/s leather seat cover as the "blue" had worn away to reveal black leather underneath, ie they just spray blue colour over black leather. So on balance I would advise avoid blue interior too!! hope that helps. BTW in the UK d/s seat has storage box with sports seats, as does p/s. guess it must be a US safety issue that its deleted for you.

Thanks Steve, that does help.

Since I will keep the top down over 300 days/year, I better go for a darker color, such as Platinum or maybe black.

Today I looked at a A4 Cab Aquamarine Blue/Blue top with the Platinum. I really liked it, the metallic makes it looks almost blue-silver in the bright sun. I would have bought it, but it was a 1.8T and I decided on a 3.0.

ABSOLUTELY get the sport seats. MOst people on this board who have not gotten them have regretted it. I have them and they are really great.

Sports seats a must, speaking as someone who didn't get them and definitely will next time! :-S
