View Full Version : CVT whine Fl-G8tr 10-20-2003, 01:53 PM I noticed that my new car (1.8T) has a whine noise when I push on the gas (not hard - still breaking her in). I can only hear it when the radio is off or I am listening to talk radio (gaps in sound). Is this normal for the CVT? Sound doe not occur when I lift off the gas.
