I just bought an 1.8T (black & black)this weekend and I noticed that the outside temp. guage is always reading higher. I'm in So. FL and it read 94 degrees when it was only 89. Is it because of the sun sensor? Any thoughts.

I'm in So. CA. & mine does that too. Consistently 4-6 degrees higher.

My temp guage always shows 1-2 celcius higher than normal. My merc CLK does it as well. My brother's impreza however, is very accurate. Maybe the germans do it on purpose, so they think it's hotter and feel better ;-)
