I will be installing 6000K xenon upgrade (kicking myself for ordering halogen with the car) and I figure that while I have the headlight assemblies out that I might as well clear the corners.

Looking closely at the headlight there is a piece of cross-hatched or diamond patterned clear plastic covering the turn signal bulb immediately beside the amber cross-hatched piece (but before the projector lens). That being said, I'm now wondering whether I have to remove the clear cross-hatched piece before I get the amber piece out.

Any ideas?

TIA

p.s. I have swapped the North American sunglasses holder for the European spec (that works) and it is definitely worth it. Let me know if you need help.

any pics? I just bought a 2004 Cab and didn't realize there was a sunglass holder.

as far as clear corners, i bought the xenon and probably won't be changing to e-codes.

i had no choice, nothing w/ xenon was available when i bought my car. the 6000k is nice, if you like that purple hue to it. i do, but some dont. i thought about clearing the corners, but it looks tooo fragile. i just ordered the european housings instead. since i had the factory halogens - they were pretty cheap ($400 for the pair)
