Hi all,

I'm planning to get the 1.8T cabriolet soon and want to lower the car with a set of H&R sport springs made specifically for the cabriolet.
Any comment on the following questions would be greatly appreciated:
1- Would those springs be compatible with the coils/shocks that come with the sport package option?
2- Any impact on the ride comfort?
3- Would it void Audi warranty?

Thanks again in advance for your feedback.

PS. This is my first post on this board. I'm from Orlando, FL USA

My first thought is that if you install those springs your 4/50,000 year warranty will not be in effect anymore. You will pay out of pocket for anything wrong with your car for as long as you
own it. VERY expensive.

Have you driven a 'Sport' pack equipped Cab yet? Maybe the settings for 'Sport' pack cars in the US are different, but here in the UK I found them far too firm, so I didnt even order the sport pack. I did order the sports seats though which were £500 on their own (sport pack only cost £750).

I suppose it depends on what you want in the end ... If you want a real firm set up to be able to throw it into corners then I suppose you can't expect to have a good ride, but if that's the case is the A4 the right car for you?

I think I must be in a real minority as I have only yet seen one Cab without the sport pack, probably because it is such amazing value for what you get.

Check out some other posts further down that people have written about their experiences with the Sport pack settings.
