By now, I assume that there are a fair amount of you folks on this board which have received their 2003 cabs. Can anyone comment on how satisfied they are :so far" with their cabs(driving experience, comfort, mechanical, etc)? I have not been able to find alot of consumer feedback on this car so far.Im getting mine in mid-January.

comments appreciated.

Drives me nuts that due to the miserable Boston weather I wont be able to use it!!! The handling is great I had an A4 1.8T 5 speed prior and although getting used to the CVT takes a bit I like it alot and very satisfied with the car! make sure you post some pics when you get it unfortunately nobody seems to be posting any !!!!! best of luck

i love mine, i too traded up from a A4T Sport.
I love everything about it except could do with a few more horses, dont ge tme wrong - its still one of the fastest cars on the road and will beat most things in my town from a standing start at the lights, but id be happier with say 300 BHP :o)

The only thing i am having a problem with is it makes a hell of a rubbing noise sometimes when going into reverse with teh steering on full or patial lock.
Im not sure if its the steering rack or brakes rubbing, i will have to get it looked at though if the problem persists

I am really enjoying the Cab. Took it on the first road trip last weekend and everything was great. It's a really solid vehicle and it drives well. Will post a pic soon - mine is Carabic blue w/platinum interior, sport suspension, leather & heated seats, Bose sound, and Xenon lights. Just over 1,100 miles on it now.

Apologies to Traderjab, but we are getting some 70+ degree days here in Texas and the top has been down quite a bit. Of course, you'll have the advantage in August when it is too damn hot here to put the top down (at least during the day)!

Regarding the window rubbing noise, it is intermittent and actually seems to have gone away on the drivers side. Could be that we are breaking in the weather seals. I have noticed that after I put the top back up it goes away for awhile. I am going to give it a little time before returning to the dealer, but I will do so if it does not go away. Estagel, you are right that an expensive vehicle like this should not have an annoying noise! Besides, my 1991 Miata never had that noise and I only paid $19k for it!!

I get lots of stares on the road. The car is very tight and fun to drive. The transmission is fun to drive (but not as much fun as a stick) and it keeps up with a friends 3 series BMW just fine. I drive 30miles to and from work which takes ove an hour each way. The interior is very comfortable and the BOSE is very nice. One complaint : the CD change on random does not change between disc and I am told this is the way it works.
