i usually run 18" mille miglias in the summer, and stock 15" in the winter, but the miglias are not in good shape, i had a tire blow right by my house in the nastiest pothole ive ever seen, and it bent the wheel. the ride was already pretty shaky with those wheels as they had seen a lot of city roads, and so i dont really want to buy new tires for them, if anyones interested in some fixer upper wheels let me know. but so now my winters are low on tread, and i want to get 17s to replace the 18s, but im pretty tight on cash, so im thinking about just getting 17s and running all seasons instead of dealing with 2 sets. i know everyone says this is a mistake, but is it really a problem? i figure brand new all seasons will offer significantly more tread than worn winters, even if they are wider. well any advice anyone can offer is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

the Winter. Although this Winter you could run Summers without a worry. :-)

Check around for used stock tires where folks upgraded. Probably get a good deal for a good tire.

I run Michelin Pilot a/s 18 inch.I have a set of 17 inch double spokes but the way the weather goes I don't feel thet are needed. My road is pretty rough that's why I run them. There used to be a place in Mount Healthy that could fix your rims

I don.t remember.A guy I knew used them for some Quattro rims about 15 years ago and they did a great job.
