...I can help you identify the ignition, power, and ground wire locations. Does the remote start need anything else?

...I was thinking about putting a remote starter on my wife's TT. If it causes a bunch of problems, then I guess I won't.

i haven't gotten one yet. i've just recently been thinking about getting one installed. i had planned on just taking it somewhere to have it installed, but the couple places i've called so far don't want to touch it

i have heard of people leaving it in gear and having it go threw windows. also having the car start in the middle of the night. I just dont see them as a value

through his garage door, another kept bouncing itself off his roomates car and while walking through a store with large front windows saw his car slowly driving across the parking lot.
Have to admit they do provide some funny stories. :-)

...does all the remote install work for Plaza.

They have a varieety of kits, but the suck thing is that they will have to 'bury' a transponder key in your dash to defeat the immobillizer.

(read: they will effectively put your spare key in your dashboad, if your car has a transponder in the keybob).

you won't EVER be able to park in gear again (if you have a manual).

However, recent starter kits have started to feature some pretty robust codes to send - should do away with 'random (unwanted) starts' Chio mentions.
