View Full Version : How is that for "quattro" weather? katit 12-01-2006, 08:42 AM I finished rebuilding suspension yesterday around 10pm. Driving the S4 was comical because I could zip right around people peeling out, sliding, etc. The TT was a bit more fun, though not in a good way. The traction control and AWD kept it going and ABS made sure it would stop. But it would slide out on corners a good deal more than the S4. Of course some of the difference comes from the cars themselves. But I think a lot of it was due to the tires. B5Davem 12-07-2006, 09:24 PM at work parking the car . I locked brakes at under 3 mph and hit a brick wall with front license bracket at about 1/2 mph .It broke only the license frame not even the front bracket.I never would have done this if I'd had put my Blizzaks on. I installed the snow tires tonight. With the mild weather this fall I didn't want them on in temperatures over 50. It was fun to whip the car down our streets tonight in complete control. I HAD to lap our block a few times after I put them on. |
