I have spoke with Audi N.A. twice concerning "any changes" to the A4 for 1999 and they refuse to discuss and absolutely deny them.They even went as far as saying that is some rumor that came off some kind of owners page on the internet.Has anyone else tried to get information or a confirmation from Audi ?

I've spoken with a bunch of salesmen, most of whom denied knowing about the mid-year changes. Three of these guys did acknowledge the changes, however, although they say that it's no more than a spiffing-up -- that is, nothing really significant. The only sheet metal change is supposed to be the back end of the Avant. One of the guys I spoke with (an "enthusiast's salesman") said that the memo appeared on the Quattro list the same day (or the day after) it went to the dealerships.

What is this I hear about freshening changes ie. A6 lights,grill,rear end and more!!Scheduled for week two 1999.?
