ok, i know that that some people say get apr and some say get giac, but here is my question

i know that the giac is a piggy back chip, and that would mean it has to be sautered on right?

if so who in stl does that

i know the apr is done at a shop, like reid-vann, but it also uses cruise control(cc), well here is my proble, my cc doesn't work, i am not sure it is the switch, arm, or one of the control boxes, since cc doesn't work should i giac no matter what, any help would be great

First, why doesn't your cruise control work? It may have nothing to do with the buttons on the stalk. I would figure out that, and then call APR to ask if it will present an issue.

Second, I suggest looking at the other offerings by GIAC and APR. Many people chip and ultimately decide to add more programming later. Pick the company that would offer the most future solutions, if you decide a chip isn't enough down the road.

Third, make sure you have all mechanical, engine related issues solved before going with either APR or GIAC. This is most important.
