Just kidding! ;)
No, actually the car belongs to me and I drive it up Woodward most days (others I take I-75 if it's not too busy).
There are pics of it in the picture poster on this board (RAconcours-B.jpg, etc.)
Who are you? What car? We're trying to find more metro-Detroiter A4 owners to get the A4 club going.
-Cathleen Laser red A4 2.8qm A!S system (DERQTRO) Johnny B. 11-17-1998, 10:18 AM Hey Cathleen,
The Idea of the A4 club sounds great!
I travel Southbound on Woodward Ave. every morning aroud the same time. I see you just South of 13 mile Rd. (I seem to have formed a habit of looking for your car every morning) As of right now i drive a '89 Ford f-250 pickup witha few extra hourse under the hood. You wouldn't believe what it can do!! Anyhow, I have ordered a 1999 Audi A4 and its to be mine in less than a month!!
It's a Santorin Blue Mica, 1.8T quattro. manual, with everything but the Bose.
Are you a male or a female?
It doesn't matter to me, your name states either one.
See you later, or in the Morning!
~Johnny B.~ ?? 11-17-1998, 10:35 AM Matched made in heaven....Cathleen and Johny...Vegas chapel anyone? Jason 11-17-1998, 10:38 AM I have never met a Cathleen that was a guy, but hey i'm from the metro east coast...hehehe...
Hi Cathleen, remember me? I envied your S System...ok ok ..i still envy your A! kit...
Jason
Sigma 11-17-1998, 10:50 AM This guy must be paranoid looking for Audis everymorning. You should keep your eyes on the road and not look for A4s, looking for love on the road. Sounds like a Herbie movie. Johnny B 11-17-1998, 11:14 AM I must say that you all are quick to make comments!!
Johhny B. 11-17-1998, 11:18 AM JUST DO IT! Jason C 11-17-1998, 11:29 AM Hey Johnny, If you don't. I would like to... I see that car as well on woodward... Cathleen, your car is hott !! Miss Cathleen 11-17-1998, 11:50 AM Yes, I am female. I'm sorta into cars, if you couldn't tell.
You drive an F-250.....gee that ought to be easy to spot in metro-Detroit(like 4 or 5 of them per mile?!) Just kidding.
I'll look for your Santorin Blue '99 2.8Tqm in a couple weeks. BTW, who did you get it from? Lavery or Bavarian? Lease or buy?
Larry Craig who created the Great Lakes A4 Club bought his '98 Santorin Blue 1.8Tqm from Bavarian. I got my A4 from Lavery.
I remember driving by the dealership on my way to work and looking to see if my red A4 was in. It was like waiting for water to boil. It's the most exciting feeling when you finally get it.
If you want more club info, I can e-mail you (mail address?)
Congrats!
-Cathleen

Johnny B. 11-17-1998, 02:23 PM Hello Cathleen!
I have purchased the car, but not from any of the local dealers.....I have ordered it from Wisconson, more specifically, from Carousel Auto. I've have a good friend whos dad works for AOA and put me in touch with the Manager of this dealership. I recieved a pretty good price for all of the options that I requested. I have been to Fred Lavery, as well as Bill Cook. Bill Cook really is a poor Dealership when it comes to customer Satisfaction! Lavery, on the other hand is a fairly nice dealer. Who was you Sales rep?......Jim Folkman?
I would like to know more about this club that you are a part of......any Membership dues?? How does this club work?
Well that is it for know. You now should have my E-mail address.......as for all of the rest of the readers.....live well....take fast turns....and usse your signals!!!!!!
You've got yourself a pretty sharp car out theere..see ya!!!! Cathleen 11-18-1998, 12:06 PM Jim Folkman. Isn't he the guy with the silver hair/balding with handle bar moustache?
He was my Dad's sales rep. Mine no longer works there (David Nastwold).
Your friend's Dad works at AoA? What is his name. I know some VWoA and AoA people.
I'll e-mail you more info on the clubs tomorrow.
-C. |
