Fred Baker recommeds this guy named Jim Blossom, but he wants to do my rear window with 2 pieces of tint and only give a 5 year warranty. 2 of the BMW dealers recommend Solar Solutions in Mentor. Has anyone used them, or can you recommend anyone else.

Let me know what you do. I was also considering getting my A4 tinted this Spring, and was going to go talk to the guys at Fred Baker.

You *should* get a lifetime warranty, and able to have it done with one piece.

If you were in columbus I would reccomend Quality Window tint off of Morse Road. A++ crew there, they did my jetta, cut the tint right at the edge, it was on right, and never had any problems with it. *lifetime warranty*

While 50% is legal, if you are going to tint, go a lil darker, 35% may be good, I had 16% on my jetta (got stopped quite a few times) but it looked good...

A place in Akron called something detail something is supposed to be the best in norther ohio. I've got their info,name,number,etc in my car if you're interested.

I might take my A6 there next time I need something done. I was told they are a great shop by a guy in Cincy I know in who is on the Champion Audi R8 racing team with Mike Galati.

Rocks. I use several shops for different work, and Galati's is by far my favorite and most trusted. They're probably some of the best Audi mechanics in the country, and Mike Galati is one of the two Audi USA driver. (currently driving the new RS6)

Also, when you talk to these tinting places, ask about what they're going to do about the edges. If you notice the black dots, most shops don't have very good ways to handle that. I'd be interested on what this trim place in Akron says. Keep me posted.
