If anyone in Columbus has a VAG-COM that I could borrow (or I can come to you), I would really appreciate it. I am sick to death of having to press the unlock button on my switchblade to open all four doors -- while I understand the security feature of this, I hate it :) I would like to follow the directions from the Tech article "Coding the Control Module for the A4" to remove the safety unlocking feature (and also add the windows up feature).
Has anyone else locally done this? Will any dealerships do it for free? Any ideas?
