My friends have tried to get me to go with them, but to no avail. Perhaps if Audi was running the LeMans cars? I dunno, maybe next year. I have alot of stuff I wanna get done to my cars before winter!

tv does f1 no justice. tickets arent that much. you may want to reconsider. i went once and im hooked.

Heard the Indiana chapter( try indyquattro at yahoo groups) may have an AUDI/BMW corral at INDY. Don't know if it's in the infield. Scroll a few posts down this link.

Attended the past 2 F1 races there. Those V10's at full song down the straight sounds awesome. Well, maybe we can do some karting or the like. There were 3 major karting places. (Racers- now closed, fast times- on the northside near where he lives I believe, and Steffan Johansen - don't know if that is how it is spelled or not)
Anyway, Fast Times I suspect will be really busy, but it may be worth a try.

The BMW/Audi corral will be outside the track as far as I know. The Miata corral is going to be inside. i'll probably do the Miata corral instead b/c of location.

both times people i brought (akediord being one of them...) ended up passed out and vomiting. that and the $1200 dinners...

Well, Luckily, I dont drink..so I wont be the guy passed out.. but I would be more than happy to document such events.

I live at 98th and Keystone...karting is at 96th and Keystone. It's a fun track. You'll be sweating like Mike Tyson at a spelling bee when you're done.

There should be several of us there. I have tix in H section (near NW vista) and will be doing the BMW-club corral deal. This gathering will be just south of the track, on Main Street in Speedway. Tickets are $60 per car, and cover food and drink for the whole week before the race (as weel as race day, of course) as well as guaranteed parking right next to the track and police-lane access right to the track. We did this for the '500 this year and it worked out great. Hope to see you all down there. Look for the quattro banner among all those M flags!

Yes, I believe we do, although Anthem has a bunch of different policies. You can call Anthem and see if we are on your list (Dermatology Center of Southern Indiana). Oh, and good luck getting a human on the phone. They NEVER NEVER EVER anwser our calls when we have questions and just endlessly transfer you from one voice-mail to another.

It's nice that people my age are finishing med school and going into practice. Makes me really feel more comfortable.

I'm thinking of renting a car, but if I can hitch a ride with a audi brethen, I could rid in style, and not have to get lost without my A6's Nav. I'll even cover gas and 'incidentals'...
