Thanks Matt for staying true to your word and the personal no BS salesmanship.
Love my 2006 225Q.TT, made it back to Oregon and had a great drive.

I spoke too soon.
Having problems with the dealer/salesperson and I don't think they will pay to remove the overspray they put on my new TT...

I got a call today from Matthew. He said it looks like Desert Audi will be sending me a check for taking off the overspray and detailing my new TT. WOW..
but the check is not in the mail..yet
hard to believe and if they do come through, good marks and thumbs up..I will see soon enough,

looks like BS ..same as most dealers who say will take care of a problem.
Overspray is now my problem..

I just received a check for half of the amount of having the whole car clayed and detailed. Better than nothing.

... because they didn't call back when they said they would, MULTIPLE times. Then the part was in stock, but they "couldn't find it" so I had to come back a 2nd time... then they didn't call for almost 2 weeks so I called and they told me it "hadn't come in yet." I reminded them that it was ALREADY in, and they told me 2 weeks previous they just needed to find it. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, they found it! Sheesh!!!
Also, when they work on your car, tell them NOT to clean/"detail" it for you. They put this crap on our tires that is like diesel oil- it is impossible to get off the side of the car and spokes of the wheels. I'm glad I won't have to go back there except for warranty work!!

Yes,I agree. I had to be persistent, close to nasty to get part of what I wanted.

Just remember most dealers are there to make money. Service is usually a 2nd priority. I have to say though that the dealer in Ann Arbor, Michigan (Howard Cooper) has gone above & Beyond in the trifecta of vehicle sales, parts and service department exceeding expectations.
I personally have only used Desert Audi for parts and had no problems with timliness on a special ordered part.
Good luck to all.

Two thumbs up to their service dept.
Would NEVER buy a car from them.

Does anyone have any good local Audi mechanics to recommend in Vegas?
