New TT owner (Quattro, 180 hp, 2001), first sports car.

Those of you in the Valley, can you recommend your favorite places to drive? Twists, turns, switchbacks and flat open roads. Preferably those low on traffic - the most miserable experience I had was coming down the mountain behind Jerome heading to Prescott and being trapped behind some Grandma in her ancient Olds. Aside from that road, I've already discovered Oak Creek Canyon and the Apache Trail.

What are some of your favorites?

I haven't gone out on many drives yet, so there may be some I don't know about. Check the link in the post above to find some folks that may know a little more.

Heading UPhill on the Jerome road, I waited at the photo/lookout place 1 mile out of town. You can see open road back towards town for over a minute of driving time. So I waited at the pullout until at least 4 or 5 minutes had gone by with no cars (yes, this happens). Then just before the next car came up (you have ample time once you see it leave town to get in your car and get read) you pull out and it'll take you a while to catch the next car ahead. 4 or 5 minutes if not a lot to catch up to a car doing 25 when you want to rip it up to 50+ on that road, but you get some unadulterated open road for a bit
