A DAY IN THE TWISTIES
The Cottonwood Run has been going on for over a year now and we are on the 7th one.
Cottonwood Run is a full day of high-performance driving through the wooded areas of northern Arizona. This run has been strictly Volkswagens up until now. This time I have put invites out to the Porsche, Subaru, and now Audi guys to open the field a little bit.
We will meet on SATURDAY August 10th at 9:00am promptly at the Macayos on Central Av. two blocks south of Indian School Rd. we will hang out for about 30 minutes then hit the road and cruise out to Cottonwood down either I-17 and take the twisties back, or take the twisties to Cottonwood and take I-17 back. We will stop at Murphys Bar and Grille in Cottonwood for a group lunch so make sure you bring your appitite. We should return to the valley before 5pm (usually around 4-4:30) and meeting at the Pavillions for thier weekly car show is an option for everyone.
